There are no translations available. Abstract: This text is a lecture held in a public debate in Lugano, Switzerland in January 2006. The author presents some aspects of the papal primacy from the point of view of the Orthodox theology. The analysis is structured on four questions: Does the Orthodox Church accept the primacy? Is the first Christian millennium an ecclesiological model of unity today? Is the contemporary Uniatism a key for understanding the papal primacy?
